Day 3 and counting.
This year, I decided to actually make use of the all the pads that accumlate on my desk and the Palm that travels everywhere with me to keep me on-track for all my holiday tasks.
Number one on my list is, of course, the kids and their every changing wish-list. They were all informed Santa is on a budget this year and they've all adjusted their lists accordingly. They're good kids.
Then between the baking, the decorating and the shopping we will have the usual round of parties and school concerts - all of which I need constant reminders of, or I will forget about each and every one of the them. LOL.
And did I mention it's my year to host the family for Christmas Eve? I volunteered when we bought the new house to switch off with my sister-in-law on alternating years to host the family for an open-house that night. With upwards of 65 people, the open house method ensures everyone has the opportunity to stop by and celebrate on their own schedules. But, yeah, planning is key and this will surely tax my unorganized brain (good thing hubby's got organization down to a science!)
So what I have done so far, you ask?
The Christmas coffee collection has been brewing in the keurig for about a month now! (The spicy eggnog is great!)
The tree is up, the outside lights are up, and the cat hasn't died yet from attacking the ornaments.
Doesn't sound like much does it? Well, it's a start. Let's see what day 4 brings. How about you?

I'm working on Chirstmas cards. Running a Christmas contest to go along with my novella release. Doing promo for Christmas release. And starting to get some shopping done. Doesn't feel like I'm getting anywhere, yet.
